My teaching and coaching have developed over years of instructing golfers of all levels. One of my main objectives in teaching and coaching is to create a solid foundation by building the fundamentals into the golf swing. I do not use one method of teaching the golf swing. Every lesson is tailored to each individual since each golfer has different abilities to learn, body type, personality and goals. I try to help golfers to understand about their golf swing so that they can continue to improve while they are practicing or playing. My strengths as a coach are my overall knowledge of the game, its technical aspects, understanding each golfer’s personal learning experience, ability to communicate and my playing experience.

Teaching golf and sharing his passion for the game to all ages and skill levels at Essex Golf Center since 2021.
Originally from Hollywood, Fl, Mike has played competitive golf since the age of 12 and eventually became one of Florida’s top ranked junior golfers. Won his first golf tournament at the age of 14, as well as shooting a competitive round 61 while on a golf scholarship at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fl. One of the reasons why Mike has a large junior golfer following is that he started teaching golf at age 17. He was one of the golf coaches for the golf summer camps that took place at the local country club in South Florida. This continued while at home from college during the summer, his main and only job for few years. This in turn gave him a top private golf facility to hone his own golf skills and swing. Most importantly it gave Mike the ability to spend countless hours understanding the golf swing, and eventually figure out how and why someone struggles to hit the golf ball consistently.
In 2016, Mike turned professional and competed against some of the top pros in South Florida on various mini tours for 4 years. Mike’s teachings are clear and simple with many of his lessons, wisdom, and stories coming directly from some of the top PGA pros and instructors, some of which he calls friends and colleagues. To date, Mike has had over 5000 hours of teaching experience.
